The Navy Blazer

T-Shirt, Boden available here £14 / Jeans, Zara / Shoes, Bloch

Last weekend N had two parties to attend and this is what I wore to the one on Saturday, a lovely spring day but quite crisp so I needed a jacket and scarf. The navy blazer is an old one from Zara, it is short, nipped in waist with bracelet length sleeves but I am not entirely happy with the fit plus it's had its day slightly.

I much prefer the more blazer style of the ones below.........

I do want a navy blazer as I think navy is more versatile than black ( plus I have my black jigsaw one that I am happy with )
But I had to include this fab image of Emmanuelle Alt in a black blazer - Great Outfit!

So what navy jackets have caught my eye.......

I did have the J.Crew one earmarked but looking at the pictures on Net-a-Porter I think that may be too short like my Zara one ........ best hope I win the lotto for the Stella! However, the Boden one is looking appealing in the mid season sale.......

As ever thanks for reading and your comments,

Annmarie xx

  6. this was my exact outfit for the school run yesterday. Boden Breton, jeans, navy jacket and red ballet pumps, normally would add a scarf but it was lovely weather yesterday to left it at home.I would be lost without a choice of jackets to wear. Looks lovely on you. x

    2. You're right those were the ones. The cheaper m&s don't come in half sizes so although cute were no good for me. Very happy with the ones I got!

Hello, have you seen the Whistles Lena jacket in navy. It's looks like it might be a bit short but is a reasonable price especially given John Lewis are doing 20% off today.
