FM40 FASHION FRIDAY FINDS | ME TIME
C L I C K T O S H O P
Strange times call for you to look after yourself, be it exercise, eating healthy and above all being kind to your self and others.
I know I feel (a look!) a whole lot better, if I put a little bit of make up on. So, today I thought I would share my beauty favourites for my Friday Finds. I haven't done a beauty post for a while and since my last one I have changed a lot of the things I use.
FACE
Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser - I presently use this in medium and it's a tinted moisturiser I have used off and on for years. I always seem to come back to this one.
Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder - I also love this as a tinted moisturiser and may. The shades I normally wear are 4 and 4.5 in the summer if I have a tan. This is fabulous underneath and can be worn on its own for a natural glow.
Nars Creamy Concealer - I have darkness under my eyes and in the corners, this make up product makes me look human and doesn't settle in the lines. I also use it on the odd spot and around my nose. I wear the colour honey.
CHEEKS
Nars Muliple - Love this product a little on the apple of your cheeks for a healthy glow. I wear the shade Na Pali Coast.
EYES
Charlotte Tilbury - Legendary Brows. For me this has been a recent game changer ... I use to get my eyebrows tinted on a regular basis, but with this I don't need to. This little brush with gel coats, shades and grooms every single hair growing them to look defined. Without them looking pencilled in or stuck down -just really natural looking
Chanel Volume Mascara - I recently got a sample of this in John Lewis and LOVE IT! It gives you a full lash and doesn't move during the day.
Charlotte Tilbury Eye Palette - This set of rose gold colours really compliment my green eyes. I can use one of the two paler colours for a natural daily wash or go full on with all four colours if I want to look really glamorous.
MAC eyeshadow Satin Taupe - This little eyeshadow I have used for years, mainly for my evening eye. It looks fabulous if like me you have green eyes and dark hair.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyeliner Pencil - Great eyeliner stays put all day! I use the colour barbarella brown, which is a dark brown.
LIPS
Charlotte Tilbury - Matt lipstick - I use the colour Pillow Talk it is the best nude lipstick I have personally found and tried. I adore it and the matching Lip Pencil is great too.
Max Factor - For a natural look I may just put on a tiny bit of gloss and this relatively cheap one is great.
SKIN CARE
I have de-hydrated skin and if I don't drink my water god help me! Plus I think I am pre-menopausal and I have had a few nasty breakouts this winter around my chin and cheeks, which has got me down. Since, I have been drinking my water and being really simple with my skin care just using this cheap cleansing water and moisturising fingers crossed my skin appears to be looking and feeling better.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - Love this, cheap, simple and effective.
Elemis HYDRA BOOST MOISTURISER - This suits my de-hydrated skin.
I am wanting to try this as I have heard great things about it.
HAIR
I have fine hair, but lots of it. I have to be careful with shampoo and conditioners that they don't weigh my hair down. Brands from the supermarket/chemist I like, are Pantene and OXY. If I want to treat myself I go for ....
and I use this to spray before blowdrying for thickness and volume.
AVEDA Thickening Tonic
The other year I had lots of breakage on the crown (too much heat I think .. tonging) which was so disappointing as I was trying to grow my hair. I am nearly at one length now and this has been a godsend ... using it one a week as a deep-conditioning treatment.

BODY
I haven't got a lot of time to spend on this area ... looking at it maybe I should make time!
For body moisturisers I love either of these two, I often get small little eczema patches on my elbows and lower legs and either of these clear it up.
Anyway, just listening to the news while typing this and it gets more depressing and sad. So, keep positive, keep active, healthy and as my mum says always put your face on, no matter what.
Lots of Love
Annmarie
