  M Y  A/W  2020  W I S H  L I S T  I know many of you love this post each season, so here goes.  A little disclaimer however, this is my 'wishlist' and I am not saying I am going to be able to get everything, but they are the pieces that I would love to add to my capsule wardrobe.   I haven't purchased a winter puffa coat for a number of years after investing in two 6/5 years ago. A new one was high on my list this year, in fact I have to confess I already made this purchase. Out with the old and in with the new as they say, I sold a few things on in the summer mainly my Bella Freud jumpers.  One had become too small and the pink cashmere 1970 ..... I thought to myself why do I need 1970 right across my large bust which only emphasizes their size? I got really good prices for them as they are still really coveted pieces. Ah my Christmas wishlist ....... as MR FM40 and I have decided not to exchange gifts this year and the kids pocket money maybe not stretch to most things on my list  - this is for you mum and Father Christmas himself, of course. I always love a scented candle, this one has to be my favourite. Although I do love the gift packaging of this brand . Perfume, normally a Chanel girl (Mademoiselle or 5 L'eau) but this reminds me of happy and fun work trips to Paris. A little bit of luxury skincare would be bliss and my favourite brand has to be Elemis, I ran out of my pro-marine cream and couldn't quite stretch to buying another jar. M Y  A/W  2 0 1 9  W I S H  L I S T OK .... this wish list has been carefully thought about and edited, mainly for budget purposes. Autumn/Winter clothes budget can be costly, as it can include big ticket items such as coats and boots. Recently, I did my summer/winter switch over and ditched somethings I just wasn't in love with anymore .... some when to charity, some hit the bin (damaged or very well worn) and some I sold on.  With the funds I raised from my little Instagram sale, I purchased this jumper .... my first A/W purchase. It is not the only thing from Sezane on my wish list ..... one of my most worn items from last year was their icon black cardigan and this year I wanted it in grey. Sadly, they haven't done it in grey this year, but this one caught my eye instead  .... the lace cuffs had me. I love cardigans as I can carry on wearing...

C L I C K   T O   S H O P Well that came around quick ... it seams like yesterday I only just posted my autumn/winter wish list !  I did pretty well with that sticking to my list, purchasing my Bella Freud pink 1970 sweater, my Chanel ballet pumps and the Rixo skirt which I didn't go for the animal print, but the monochrome leopard print instead. I purchased pointy black ankle boots, in fact I purchased two pairs! The leather pair I put on my list from Dune and then I got a bargain pair of sock boots from Topshop which I preferred and wore a lot more than the Dune boots. The lesson I learnt there was ankle boots are far more flattering when then go a touch higher up the leg and don't cut off to short if that makes sense?   Unfortunately, my budget isn't unlimited and after a few big ticket buys a new coat will have to carry forward to next winter. ...

When the weather starts to improve like it has, you start to get your spring bits and pieces out ..... and then realise a few things need replacing or you are short of a few basic tops and bottoms. My spring/summer wish list was published back in February ( see it here ) and a few things can be ticked off as purchased, the white shirt , the Castaner wedges and the Valentino like Tan-GOs shoes . I love the change over in seasons, sorting your wardrobe out and deciding what hits the charity bag, what goes on eBay and then looking at the holes (quite literally sometimes in your jumpers) left and deciding what you need to fill those holes and then the whole other ball game of what you would really like..... more things hit my eBay pile.  Again, I am going to try and stick to my new year resolution of trying to buy less and invest in things only that I really love.  1.
